Often called an “Attorney By Day and Planner Pusher” by night – Tanisha enjoys marrying her legal career as an attorney practicing criminal defense and family law with her passion for women as the Strategic Director of HerSpace Co. widely known for its signature product The Layered Living Planner.
Tanisha received a Juris Doctorate from Robert McKinney School of Law- Indianapolis in 2012. She is a proud graduate of Tennessee State University, a historically black college and prides herself in being actively engaged in the community and being civic minded.
Currently, the owner/operator of T. Carothers Law Office, she spends her time vigorously advocating for her clients in family, criminal and business matters. Tanisha is actively involved in the Evansville Bar Association as a committee member of its Diversity and Inclusion, Access to Justice and many more sections. Recently, she revived the Evansville Black Chamber of Commerce working to increase access and sustainability for locally owned black businesses. Tanisha has been recognized as a champion for diversity in both her professional and personal life. She prides herself on being a bridge providing access to those less fortunate.
