Dayna Colbert is a Senior Program Manager at a local market research company. Her main role is gathering and analyzing data to help clients gain insights about their customer relationships.  In addition, Dayna manages the Program Managers and Interns. She is the President of the Hamilton County Young Democrats (HCYD), Recruitment and Training Chair for the Hamilton County Democratic Party, and 5th District Chair for the Indiana Young Democrats.

Dayna was elected the second President of HCYD when the chapter was three months old. Through her leadership, she has recruited a robust Executive Committee with roles on various campaigns, including Campaign Managers, Volunteer Coordinators, and candidates themselves.

In 2018, Dayna left her job as a Project Manager to work for the Indiana Coordinated Campaign as a Regional Field Director, where she started to fall in love with field organizing. In 2019, she was a Campaign Manager for two Fishers City Council candidates.  The outcome of these campaigns showed that Hamilton County should not be considered a Republican stronghold for much longer.

Dayna has a Master of Science in Information and Communication Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, both from Ball State University. She currently lives in Fishers with her rescue dog Brutus.
