Amy Kintz

Amy Kintz is a Senior Marketing Manager for Barnes & Thornburg LLP and is based in the law firm’s South Bend office. She is responsible for marketing and community engagement efforts for the firm’s South Bend, Elkhart, and Fort Wayne, Indiana offices, as well as oversight for their Columbus, Atlanta, Nashville and Minneapolis offices.

A life-long resident of South Bend, Amy recently earned her bachelor’s degree and a minor in human resources from Indiana University. She is the proud, single mother of three and they make their home in the city’s near northwest side.

Spending most of her professional career in sales and marketing management, she has showcased her strengths in innovation and creativity, as well as her natural tendency to lead and mentor. Employers and peers alike benefit from Amy’s ability to understand their business, professional and personal goals and needs and to develop strategies to help them achieve success. Her professional roles have afforded her the opportunity to build strong relationships with South Bend area business and community leaders, often connecting the right players to help move the needle and effect positive change.

Always one to walk the walk, Amy is heavily involved in the community serving on the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities and Leadership SBM. She serves on the Fund Development Committee for Cultivate Food Rescue and volunteers at these organizations, as well as others, as often as she can. After the pandemic, Amy saw a need to pull the community together to support local non-profits and local entrepreneurs who had been negatively impacted. As a result, Barnes & Thornburg’s Food Truck Philanthropy initiative was born. In the last three years, this effort has raised funds for over 15 local non-profit organizations and helped nearly as many local food truck entrepreneurs gain additional exposure and new business connections.

Amy’s true passion is people. She is committed to working to provide the best possible opportunities for those in her orbit, but more importantly for those who may not have the resources and tools necessary to navigate life’s challenges. Blessed with a strong support system of family, friends and professional connections, as a single mother, Amy still knows and understands how difficult it can be to rise from tough situations. Those who do not have access to the right resources and support system find this journey that more trying. One of Amy’s goals is to continue to work with current non-profit organizations and community leaders to enhance existing programs or create new ones to meet the growing needs of the underserved members of her community. She hopes her passion, her drive to make things happen and her ability to connect people will help in achieving this goal.
