Allissa Impink was born and raised in Indianapolis, making her proud to make her career in her hometown. For more than 18 years, she’s used her skills and experience in numerous fields, including public service, educational leadership, development, and philanthropy, to positively impact the community. Allissa seeks to expand educational opportunities in ways that are life-changing for children and transforming for the community.
Embracing an entrepreneurial approach, Allissa forges valuable partnerships at both the grass-top and grassroots levels, fostering spaces for communities to prosper and flourish. Her ultimate goal is to enact significant and quantifiable improvements within the Indianapolis public education system, specifically aimed at closing the racial achievement gap.
Currently, Allissa holds the position of Director of Family Philanthropy and Senior Philanthropic Advisor at CICF (Central Indiana Community Foundation). In her role, she manages a portfolio of highly engaged fund holders at CICF, offering guidance on their grant-making endeavors and charitable strategies. Additionally, as a Senior Advisor to Glick Philanthropies, Allissa oversees the competitive grants process and prioritizes high-impact initiatives of the Glick Fund at CICF.
Allissa holds a Master’s of Science ( M.S) degree in Community Psychology and a Masters of Arts (M.A.T.) in Teaching, with a licensure in Special Education.
