Alexis Weaver

Alexis Weaver serves as Assistant Corporation Counsel in the City of Indianapolis Office of Corporation Counsel. In that role, she advises local government clients, including the Office of the Mayor, Office of Public Health and Safety, and Department of Business & Neighborhood Services, among others. 

Previously, Alexis was a project manager in the Office of the Mayor Joe Hogsett, working to administer the City’s $419 million American Rescue Plan allocation, focusing on anti-violence, economic recovery, and neighborhood investment programming. Prior to that, she worked in communications for Indy Parks. 

Alexis graduated from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, received her MPA from the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (Indianapolis), and obtained her JD from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Alexis is an Indy native and lifelong resident of Indy’s Eastside, graduating from the “Pride of the Eastside” – Warren Central High School. She and her partner Aaron are proud residents of the Otterbein neighborhood.
