Yulonda Winfield is an accomplished professional in the field of Business Administration, with a remarkable track record of success and leadership that spans over two decades. Her unanimous appointment to the role of Clerk of the City-County Council on January 9, 2023, marked a pivotal moment in her career, as she now serves as the custodian of all official records and documents for the Council, while assisting in the oversight of the day-to-day operations with precision and expertise.
Before her current role, Yulonda garnered valuable experience in the private sector, working for construction and architecture firms where she refined her skills in office and operations management.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Yulonda is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for Brooke’s Place, a non-profit organization that provides support groups, therapy services, and education to empower children, teens, young adults, and their families dealing with grief. She also volunteers with the Indiana Black Expo, contributing her administrative expertise to various events and tasks.
