As an experienced corporate manager, Veena has spent her career working in high tech and med tech areas. Veena currently works at Eli Lilly in the medical device group where she can bring her passions for technology and healthcare together to serve the needs of people managing their conditions. One of Veena’s passions is the mentorship of women in STEM whether at the university level or young professionals. She is a strong believer that more women with a passion for science and technology can impact society in many important and positive different ways.
Veena graduated with a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, PhD in Chemical Engineering from Stanford and MBA from the University of Virginia Darden school. In addition to her role at Lilly, Veena currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Boone County Democrats where she is working with an amazing team of leaders and volunteers to support progressive candidates and causes.
