Dr. Treva Bostic is a community leader and educator who is deeply committed to improving the quality of life for members of Madison County. Born and raised in Anderson, Indiana, Dr. Bostic has spent most of her adult life living in Anderson and working with various organizations throughout the city and county, especially those that focus on education, mental health awareness, business development, and social justice issues.
A formally trained psychologist, Dr. Bostic has used her gifts to lead the charge for better access to health care, for greater workforce development, and for increased student achievement for K-12 students in the county. Currently, she serves as the Director of Race, Equity and Inclusion for Anderson Community Schools. In this capacity, she works with teachers, administrators, students, parents and community members in Anderson to ensure that students of all backgrounds have equal access to quality education.
