Teryna L. Van Cleave is the Change Management Lead at AES Indiana and has been a part of the team for 13 years. Prior to her new role, she was a Team Leader in Customer Care. She is a dedicated community advocate and servant leader. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Teryna has lived, worked, and served in the community. She is the product of the Indianapolis Public School system, graduating from Arsenal Technical High School. Having lived in Cincinnati, Ohio to explore her own human potential, Teryna found herself back at her roots, in Indianapolis, with an even stronger commitment to service. She has volunteered her time to many organizations and charities.
She and her husband enjoy hosting political events for the Democratic party at their home. Teryna brings her lived experiences and intellectual capital to Hoosier Women Forward to strengthen her skills and demonstrate the power and impact of one voice when passion is behind it. She is currently pursuing a personal goal of obtaining a degree in Business Administration at Marian University, after raising her family and being a caregiver for both her parents and so many others. She is an active member and trustee at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, serving in the music ministry. She enjoys cooking, singing, viewing educational and motivational documentaries.
