Nicole Yates serves as District Director for Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-09). Nicole has a deep knowledge of public service and political strategy. Her breadth of experience spans from consulting, statigizing and running many campaigns on the local, state and national level, to running the schedules and community outreach of Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, former U.S. Congressman Baron Hill and 2008 presidential candidate Barack Obama’s successful Indiana general election campaign. She also was in charge of appointments to Mayor Greg Fischer’s more than 100 boards and commissions. A 2010 Business First 40 under 40 honoree, Nicole is a graduate of Leadership Southern Indiana & Leadership Louisville, President of the New Albany Chapter of the NAACP, Vice chair of Leadership Southern Indiana Executive Board, past president of the Jeffersonville Rotary Club, member of Clark County Children & Family Advocates, Volunteers of America Mid-states and other organizations. She holds an MBA from Ottawa University and an undergraduate degree in Social and Behavioral Science & Supervision from Indiana University Southeast.
