LaMicra Martin has been working in health administration since 1998. Her 20-year career has focused on instilling a patient focus by improving patient experience, patient safety and quality care.
Her career is not the only place LaMicra strives to effect positive change for the public in Southern Indiana. When not at work, LaMicra is deeply involved in her community. She is the founder of Brothers Reaching Up Higher “B.R.U.H”, a 501c3 nonprofit organization created to encourage positive self-esteem, self-worth and success tools for young men ages 10-19.
LaMicra earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration/Health Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has been married to her husband Judah Martin for 16 years and is the mother of five children — four sons and one daughter. LaMicra resides in New Albany.
