Kourtney Teegardin is passionate about advocating for others, and is a skilled event organizer and fundraiser. She has worked in marketing for the majority of her career, having done so in construction, law, non-profit, and economic development industries.
A resident of Fort Wayne, Kourtney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington in 2005. She completed Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana’s (YLNI) Leadership Institute in 2015, then began volunteering with YLNI as co-chair of Leadership Institute. She served on their board, and helped launch additional leadership programs. In 2021, she completed Leadership Fort Wayne, a program run by Greater Fort Wayne, Inc., that inspires emerging leaders to embrace the community, get involved, and drive positive change. In 2022, Kourtney was a Forty Under 40 award recipient for Northeast Indiana.
Kourtney serves on the Board of Directors for Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, is a member of the Council for Make-A-Wish of Northeast Indiana, is a member of the fund development committee for Amani Family Services, and is a Study Connection volunteer with Fort Wayne Community Schools. She previously served on the board for Middle Waves Music Festival.
