Katherin Chi is the senior director of development and operations at RISE INDY. Previously she served as the communications director at Kiwanis International where she focused on helping its members improve the lives of children in more than 80 nations around the world. In 2016 , Katherin worked on Christina Hale’s lieutenant gubernatorial race as the campaign manager where was responsible for fundraising, voter outreach and volunteer management. In 2020, she served as Christina Hale’s congressional campaign adviser.
Katherin is a founding member of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) Indiana Chapter and she serves on the City of Indianapolis Board of Business and Neighborhood Services. Her previous leadership positions include serving on the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra’s Forte board, American Pianist Association’s young professional board and City of Indianapolis Board of Zoning Appeals.
Katherin lives in Indianapolis with her husband and son and she enjoys reading, taking walks in her neighborhood and mushroom hunting with her mother.
