Jessica García started her career in Washington, D.C. working as a Legislative Assistant for Representative Nydia Velázquez. Currently, she serves as a Constituent Services Liaison in Indiana’s 7th Congressional District for Representative André Carson.
Jessica served on the executive board of the Forward Cities Council, which advocates for advancing innovative ways to engage and include businesses in the economic development of the communities they operate in. She is also a board member for Flanner House in Indianapolis. She serves as the 7th District Co-Chair for the Indiana Latino Democratic Caucus and served on the 2020 Census Complete Count Committee, which develops the strategy for launching the decennial census in Indianapolis.
Jessica graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business. She also obtained her Master of Business Administration degree from Butler University Andre B. Lacy School of Business. In her free time, Jessica loves to spend time with family, friends and traveling the world.
