Iris O’Donnell Bellisario is a seasoned digital opportunity leader and program strategist with extensive experience at Lead for America’s American Connection Corps (ACC). Currently serving as the organization’s Program Design Associate, Iris plays a lead role in designing ACC’s future state curriculum, with an emphasis on developing digital skills credentialing and other workforce capacities among the program’s AmeriCorps Members. With over 100 Members serving across 30 states, Iris also supports program success through leading content delivery and coordinating large-scale training events to support a 90% Member completion rate. In previous roles, Iris led a national Train-the-Trainer initiative with Comcast and Rural LISC, piloted curriculum tools to strengthen digital skills, and directly supported cohorts of AmeriCorps members in their service work. Iris began her journey as a Digital Fellow with the Southern Indiana Development Commission, where she led the creation of regional digital inclusion plans, organized a 12-county broadband summit, and launched digital literacy and cybersecurity initiatives. Across all roles, Iris brings a deep commitment to advancing digital access, skills, and community impact. Iris also serves on the West Lafayette City Council and has been an active participant serving on the Go Greener Commission, Historic Preservation Commission and regularly attending community meetings.
