Erin was born and raised in Indianapolis in a proud UAW union household where she developed a commitment to policies that support economic stability and opportunity for working families.
After high school she spent two decades living, working, and being engaged in her community in Maryland, New York, and Illinois. While living in New York Erin was an elected Democratic District Leader and was elected Chairwoman of her local Democratic party. While living in Illinois she ran a club that found and organized volunteer opportunities for families in her Chicago neighborhood.
Erin returned to Indiana in late 2020 and settled in Hamilton County where she immediately got involved with her local community and with volunteering for political campaigns. In 2023 she was president of the Carmel Democrats, and in 2024 she was campaign manager for Matt McNally’s competitive state house race where she led a grassroots campaign that knocked on 25,000 doors.
In 2025 Erin was elected Secretary of the Indiana Democratic Party by the state central committee.
Outside of political and civic engagement Erin is a project manager and finance manager for small businesses, helping to create financial organization and processes for growing companies.
Erin is also the proud mother of two incredible teenagers, and a regular volunteer at community food pantries.
