Crystal Neumann is a Latina, first generation American, with a passion to make a difference and become a role model for others. Given her personal experiences and listening to the experiences others have shared, she understands the responsibility she has in being a voice to support equity, diversity, and inclusion. She is also passionate about sustainability efforts. She currently serves on the Fishers City Council.
Crystal has a Doctorate in Business Administration, MBA, Master’s in Adult Education, and holds a certificate on diversity & inclusion. Dr. Neumann previously worked in marketing and market research before she transitioned to higher education to work with and motivate adult learners. Her work has been published in several journals, and she has presented at several national and international conferences. Her commitment and efforts toward making education affordable and accessible were recognized, in which she was selected as an honoree of Reverend Jesse L. Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH Excel 2017.
Crystal has been a Fishers resident since 2012 with her husband Jörg, sons Eli and Anton, and her spunky dog, Chorizo.
