Maricel Driscoll

Maricel proudly serves as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Delaware County Prosecutor’s Office in Muncie, IN and has done so for the last 8 years. In the courtroom, she fights every day to bring justice and peace to her community and to be the voice for those who are unable to speak or fight for themselves. Prior to becoming a Deputy Prosecutor, Maricel served as a Deputy Attorney General for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in Indianapolis for approximately 4 years.

A dedicated public servant, Maricel is active and engaged in her community. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Delaware County Prevention Council, the Board of Directors for Open Door Health Services, the Board of Directors for Prevent Child Abuse Council of Delaware County, and as a member of the Muncie Baseball & Softball Association Board of Directors.

Maricel has served as a Precinct Committee Person in Delaware County for the last 2 years, serves the 6th district and Delaware County as the volunteer attorney for voter protection each election, and is on the coordinating committee for the Delaware County Democrats annual dinner fundraiser.

Maricel was raised in a military family whom ultimately made Peru, Indiana their home. She currently resides in Muncie with her loving family. She attended Ball State University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice & Criminology. She earned her law degree from Thomas M. Cooley School of Law in Michigan and is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana.
