Blythe Potter

Blythe Potter loves reading, sleeping, and vegan ice cream! She is married to her geologist husband Michael and they have three girls and several four legged rescued fur babies. Professionally, she co-owns Bargersville Wellness, an eco-friendly salon, spa, and yoga studio downtown in Bargersville where she is an esthetician, massage therapist, and yoga teacher.

Blythe has an MBA from Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan, is a Leadership Johnson County alum (22), a Center Grove Ambassador graduate (24), and 2024 Emerging Leaders Project graduate. Blythe is very involved in the Johnson County Democratic Party as a precinct chair, candidate for Johnson County Council at Large, a 2024 national delegate, and a Military Police Corps Army combat veteran who was selected to serve as personal security detail for General George Casey in Iraq from 2005-2006. It was her military training that got her recommended to be a driver for the support motorcade for Kamala Harris when she visited Indianapolis in July of 2024.

Blythe is passionate about community wellness, self-care, women’s rights, and environmental conservation. Blythe hopes to continue to learn how to create and support positive change in our community as a member of Hoosier Women Forward and feels grateful to be selected for this cohort.
