Rebecca TeKolste

Rebecca’s career is focused on equity — she has had varied experiences in direct service provision and research in many sectors, including public health, climate, and workforce development.

She is an incredibly proud Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in the Maternal and Child Health project in Guatemala. Her experience working with indigenous communities there led her to the conclusion that reducing the impact of climate change is the single greatest equity issue of our time. Rebecca channels this passion for the intersection of climate and equity through her current role at ClimateView, where she works alongside Representative Carey Hamilton to ensure that cities have access to the best possible analysis to plan their climate transition.

Rebecca is also passionate about elected leadership. She worked on Senator Donnelly’s reelection campaign (Coordinated) in 2018 and on Christina Hale’s 2020 race for Congress (DCCC). She served as President of the Marion County Young Democrats from January 2020 – January 2022. She remains actively involved as a volunteer for the Indiana Democratic Party.

Rebecca studied Political Science, International Studies, and Global Affairs. She holds a B.A. from Northwestern University and an M.A. from Yale University.
