Misti Meehan was born and raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Misti has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs and Political Science from Indiana University (Fort Wayne). She is the Chairwoman of the Allen County Democratic Party and the 3rd Congressional District Democrats, and Vice President of the IN Democratic Veterans Caucus. Misti served in the Army National Guard and believes volunteering in her community is her civic duty. She launched her own business this year, Misti’s Signature Services LLC, providing mobile notary and concierge services. Misti has been a consistent presence in her community from serving on boards and committees to coaching little kids’ soccer. In a continued effort to work for her community, Misti ran for Fort Wayne City County Council in 2019. While Misti was not elected, she received the most votes of any Democrat to run in the district and did so in just 130 days.
