Erin Heilbrunn Vahrenkamp is a Learning & Development Manager at Deloitte. She manages a portfolio of e-learning courses that strengthen the firm’s reputation and compliance with internal policy as well as federal and state regulation and law. She has nearly twenty-five years of experience designing training and performance support for clients across a range of industries.
A resident of Carmel, Erin is passionate about increasing engagement in the Democratic Party in Hamilton County. As a candidate for Clay Township Board in 2018, Erin recognized a need for a stronger candidate support mechanism in Carmel and set out to help build that for future candidates by co-founding the Carmel Democratic Club. Over several years, the club helped boost the profile of Democratic leadership in the Republican stronghold of Carmel and successfully promoted local Democratic candidates for elected office. As of 2023, the club will transition into an official committee of the county party.
Erin is also a Precinct Chair in Carmel, is a two-time state delegate, and has volunteered with a number of campaigns in Hamilton County.
A native of the Chicago suburbs, Erin earned a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from The George Washington University in Washington DC, graduating summa cum laude. She is the proud mom of two children, Aidan and Alexis. In her spare time, Erin enjoys traveling with her family, attending musical theater performances, and reading.
